In Latvia will cease to broadcast 16 Russian TV channels

Exclude 16 Russian TV channels from retransmitted in Latvia decided by the National Council of the countries by electronic media (NEPLP). It is reported by the press service of the organization.

The decision will come into force on February 10.

TV channels will not be retransmitted because NEPLP is unknown by their official representative in Latvia, which could agree to their distribution on behalf of the owners.

The former copyright holder SIA «TEM LV» said that from February 1 no longer represents these channels. Possible new their representative provided NEPLP no documents.

The list of channels, the retransmission of which will be stopped, entered: «Ren TV Baltic», «NTV World of Baltic», «Carousel», «NTV series», «NTV Style», «NTV Right», «Kinomix», «Our new movie «,» Native Movie «,» Indian Cinema «,» KinoMediya «,» Kinosheria «,» KVN TV «,» Kitchen TV «,» Box TV «and» HD Life «.

Yesterday, February 8, it became known that in Latvia for a year banned the broadcast of the Russian TV channel RTR.
